I had the privilege of serving as the Chairman of the Life Science section for the Young Scientist Award at the Hong Kong Institute of Science. Congratulations to all the awardees! I’m also delighted to have been nominated as a council member of the Hong Kong Institute of Science.

I had the privilege of presenting at the Hong Kong Jockey Club’s JC CoolScience event with the Education University of Hong Kong in mid-August. My session, “Biomedical Sciences and Me,” covered key topics like genetic testing, cancer immunotherapy, and mRNA vaccines for primary teachers.
Using real-world examples and planarian clips, I demonstrated how advancements in biomedical research relate to everyday life. I’m grateful for the opportunity to inspire educators about these important scientific developments.
